Garden Lovers Tour

Duration: Half Day Tour 3-4 hours

  • Take a ride to the beautiful and enchanting Laura Herb and Spice Gardens where you will see numerous samples of trees, herbs and spices grown on the island.  (30 minutes)
  • Just a few minutes away set across 2 acres of impeccable groomed land, Palm Tree Garden overlooks the stunning south east coast of Grenada. Boasting close to 40 different species of palms, a unique greenhouse conversion, Anthuriums, Bromeliads, Orchids, lily ponds and an exotic array of flora fauna and fresh fruits. Feast your eyes upon the Torch Ginger (Etingerara Elatior) the feature plant that can undoubtedly be found in this garden. But this is not the only element of surprise! Wait till you see the famous upside down tree at Palm Tree Gardens. While you are it, take a stroll across to the lily pond where you can delight yourself with a peak of the red footed tortoise. Enjoy the breath-taking scenery of the lush mountains and the sparkling ocean. At the garden you will be greeted by a tour guide who will engage you in a wide array of tropical plants and enlighten you of how Grenada has earned its title of “Isle of Spice”. (1 hour)
City and Fort Tour Grenada

City Tour

Duration: Half Day Tour 3-4 hours

Activity Level: Easy to moderate

  • Experience some of Grenada’s top heritage sites including stops at Fort Frederick, Fort Matthew (25 minutes) and Fort George (20 minutes).
  • Learn about Grenada’s rich history with a stop at the National Museum. (15 minutes)
  • Walk the town and visit unique locations such as the Chocolate Museum and Art Fabrique. Indulge your sight and smell at the spice market. Observe the picturesque horseshoe harbour, called the Carenage, and drive through the 18th century built Sendal tunnel that connects the east side of the town to the west.  (1 hour)
  • If you are up for a meal, dine at popular BB’s Crabback. (1 hour)

Fort and Rainforest Tour Grenada

  • Photograph cascading Annandale Waterfall. (20 minutes)

Distillery and Waterfall

  • In operation since 1937, tour Grenada’s largest and best-known distillery Clarke’s Court Rum Distillery. Sample the award-winning rums at the sample bar and get recipes on ways you can mix the rum. (40 minutes)
  • Since the early 1700’s the Westerhall Estate has been producing sugar cane, coconuts and limes. The family at the estate throughout the centuries have developed a unique approach to blending and bottling rum. Tour this site and sample the fresh spirit of Grenadian culture. (40 minutes)
  • The largest waterfall on the island, should not be missed by one who enjoys the breath-taking sights. This remarkable sight is both sobering and peaceful as you sit by the falls surrounded by a paradise of local vegetation. (30 minutes)
  • Enjoy an authentic creole buffet and chocolate tour at the Belmont Estate (1 hr. 30 mins)
  • Tour the Caribbean’s oldest still functioning water-powered distillery River Antoine before tasting its potent rum (available in Grenada only) (25 minutes).
  • River Antoine Distillery return to Hotel.

  • Grenada cocoa is ranked as one of the very finest in the world. Visit the Diamond Chocolate Factory and learn about the process of chocolate making, finish off with sampling the pure dark chocolate or a bar infused with locally grown ingredients like nutmeg and ginger (35 minutes)
  • Journey to and tour the Belmont Estate where you will have a chance to savour a luxury brand of fine organic chocolate in a class of its own, enriched with organic spices and made using only the very finest organic cocoa beans all carefully grown, harvested, sun dried and prepared on the estate.
